What colors to wear in Spring-Summer 2024?
Red, blue, green but also beige, nude, pastel... Summer will be pop (or not!) Zoom in on the colors to adopt for the spring-summer 2024 season.
Baby blue
A prerogative of parents to enhance their little cherubs, baby blue is reinventing itself this year in a slightly less childish version. Exit the navy blue of last season, in spring-summer 2024 blue is available in a softer version for sensual and relaxed looks. Chic, fresh and bright, baby blue is making a place in our wardrobe in touches on accessories ( handbag , headband, jewelry, etc.) or in colorblock for a total look. Favor light and vaporous materials (poplin, cotton, satin, etc.) to accentuate the airy effect of baby blue. We are definitely adopting it for the ceremony season which is fast approaching!
Passion red
On a top, shoes or a clutch : this season, red is THE color that dominates. A universal and timeless symbol of passion, it can be as chic as it is sexy depending on how it is worn. For example, we wear it in a smart version on tights mixed with a gray pleated mini-skirt, or in a more discreet version on a shoulder bag to finish off a total black look. Red, yes, but on one condition: wear it elegantly, without falling into extravagance. Goodbye femme fatale, hello quiet luxury !
Sour pop
It's no secret that fashion is a constant renewal. This is evidenced by the many trends that come back to the forefront (and the catwalks) season after season, as is the case for the flashy palette of the 1980s. Chick yellow, apple green, electric blue, pink, orange... In spring, we electrify our outfits with shades as bright as our summer mood ! For a successful supercharged look, we combine clothes with simple cuts with small colorful accessories ( phone case , earrings, shoes, etc.). We favor plain pieces to avoid overloading our outfit (remember, less is more ); this season, sober cuts give pride of place to colors. For the more daring, we dare to mix & match through assemblages of supercharged colors. Be careful, however, to use it sparingly: mix 2 or even 3 colors at most so that your outfit does not take on an unwanted clownish look...
Nude luxury
Basic shades of any self-respecting wardrobe, "neutral" colors, such as beiges, ecrus and other off-whites, are taking the top step of the podium this season. Nude tones are now the spearheads of the quiet luxury movement, a trend that appeared in 2023 and advocates "discreet luxury". In other words, the time has come to stop ostentation and visible logos, and instead to focus on effortless chic, thanks in particular to these warm, comforting and elegant colors. We are all the more eager to do so with this unstoppable argument: if nude is a must-have for spring-summer 2024, it is above all a timeless piece that remains, both in ready-to-wear and in leather goods!
